ICHS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The ICHS awards were conceived to highlight scientific excellence. Our Society, the International Immunocompromised Host Society will present a Lifetime Achievement award and a Junior Investigator award to highly qualified ICHS members at each Biennial Symposium. Additionally, ICHS will present Clinical Virology and Laboratory Virology awards in recognition of an exceptional contribution to the immunocompromised host field.

Your ICHS membership entitles you to participate in the nomination process. We greatly appreciate your thoughtful consideration as we move to recognize outstanding individuals in the field of the Immunocompromised Host for their dedication and hard work.

These awards originated during the 20th Biennial Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Host. We have engaged input from our membership in the nomination process. Please see the requirements below:

The International Immunocompromised Host Society Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is presented to an individual for continuous exceptional and noteworthy contributions related to the immunocompromised host.
Nominees must have a strong written recommendation from an active member of the Immunocompromised Host Society (ICHS).

The International Immunocompromised Host Society Junior Investigator Award

The recipient of this award must be an Instructor, Assistant Professor, or equivalent junior faculty staff member who has demonstrated notable achievements and shows high potential for future contributions related to the immunocompromised host.
Nominees must have a strong written recommendation made by an active member of the Immunocompromised Host Society (ICHS) with a detailed summary of the nominee’s contributions, and an explanation of how these contributions are worthy of distinctive recognition.
