We invite you to the 27th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, which will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 22 - 25 April 2017.
The world’s leading experts will come together to discuss the latest developments in infectious diseases, infection control and clinical microbiology. The congress committee is preparing a comprehensive scientific programme with keynote lectures, symposia, educational and oral sessions on parallel tracks. The schedule of ECCMID 2017 has been finalized.
Two of our ICHS Council members and members of the ECCMID Scientific Committee, Dr. Dimitrios Kontoyiannis (current ICHS President) and Dr. Murat Akova (International Council Member), proposed a 1 hour Symposium entitled “Infections in Cancer Patients”, which was accepted for inclusion in the final program in the category of . Bacterial Infection & Disease.
The ECCMID Program Committee evaluated more than 400 session proposals with scrutiny and diligence. The 30 committee members from all over the world scored, sorted, merged, amended and filtered the proposals to come up with a selection of around 100 invited sessions (acceptance rate of ~25%), which will make for a well-balanced, top-quality program for ECCMID 2017. The final scientific program is planned to be published in early February.
The 27th ECCMID will be held in Vienna Austria, 22-25 April, 2017.
